Welcome to the Website of NICS Ramblers
The Club was formed in 1997 and continues to grow from strength to strength with a wide variety of walks and hikes to suit all abilities.
We cater for all levels of abilities through a programme of hill walks, leisurely coastal or generally low level rambles and in the summer, evening "danders". Our walks programme also includes several weekends and regular holidays abroad.
If you are interested in reading more about the clubs activities then read the welcome from our club chairperson.
NOTICE TO MEMBERS
For full copies of flyers and other comms from NICS Ramblers, you should be on our e-
I hope you ordered your copies in time as Dermot has now sold his entire stock of calendars, raising the brilliant sum of £2,500 to be shared between the two worthy charities. Well done Dermot.
This 2021 Calendar has been produced in memory of our dear friend and fellow Ramblers member Audrey Haggan, who unfortunately passed away in July at the tender age of 51 after a long struggle with cancer. She was a dedicated member of the NICS Ramblers walking club for many years and it was recently agreed by the Committee that this calendar would be produced in her memory to help raise funds for two very important charities. The calendars cost £10 each (plus P&P) and all profits (est. £6 per calendar) will be used to support both the Mourne Mountain Rescue Team, the Ramblers nominated charity, and the cancer charity Cancer Research UK. If you would like to order one or more copies of the calendar please email your full postal address and quantity required to Dermot Breen at email@example.com and he will advise on total cost (including P&P) and payment options. Your support would be greatly appreciated.
Please take the opportunity to read the information on Health & Safety.
Details of our forthcoming walks can be found on the Walks page and photographs of some of our previous walks and social events can be found on the Gallery pages.
If you have any comments on the website, please send them to John Holmes.
